Fractional CMTO Retainer

Senior AI, marketing, and technology leadership, without the full-time hire.

I step in as your fractional Chief Marketing and Technology Officer: in your weekly leadership cadence, setting direction, and executing alongside your team.

Overview

What the retainer covers.

  • Weekly

    Calls, milestones, and deliverables

  • 3-month

    Minimum engagement, month-to-month after

  • From $5,500/mo

    At twelve-month commitment.

The working rhythm

Senior leadership, in the work with you.

This is leadership and execution combined. I drive the direction, and I do the work, alongside the team you have already built.

  1. A standing seat in your leadership cadence

I am in your weekly leadership rhythm, owning outcomes. Not a monthly check-in, not a report you read later.

    Weekly

  2. Direction across AI, marketing, and technology

One person setting strategy across the three areas that have been pulling against each other instead of forward.

  3. Execution, not just advice

I roll up my sleeves and ship the work alongside your team. A doer at the table, not a deck on the way out.

  4. A real voice in the decisions that matter

When the leadership team weighs a hire, a tool, a market, or a number, I am in the room and on the hook for it.

  5. Outcomes tied to your P&L

We agree on the measurable outcomes up front. The work is judged against them, not against hours logged.

The fastest way to put senior leadership in your business and feel the difference.

  • 6-Month

Room to set direction and ship the first real wave of outcomes.

  • 12-MonthLowest rate
    $5,500/mo$66,000 over twelve months

A full year to build, ship, and compound. The lowest rate, locked in.

Why a retainer

The difference senior leadership makes.

A full-time senior marketing and technology executive is a major salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and it is a fixed cost whether a given month's workload justifies it or not.

Without it

  • AI, marketing, and technology pulling against each other instead of forward.

  • A major salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits, fixed whether the month's workload justifies it or not.

  • Strategy that arrives as a deck on the way out, with no one on the hook to ship it.

  • Work judged against hours logged, not against the number it was meant to move.

With the retainer

  • One person setting strategy across the three areas at once.

  • That level of leadership without the fixed overhead, sized to what your business actually needs right now.

  • A doer at the table who drives direction and ships the work alongside your team.

  • Measurable outcomes agreed up front, with the work judged against them.

FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from hiring a full-time CMO or CTO?
A full-time senior marketing and technology executive is a major salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and it is a fixed cost whether a given month's workload justifies it or not. The retainer gives you that level of leadership without the fixed overhead, and you can size the commitment to what your business actually needs right now.
Do you replace my team, or work with them?
I work with the team you have already built. I can also work alongside any agencies or consultants you have in place, and run point on them when that helps. The role is leadership and execution combined: I drive direction and decisions, and I do senior-level work next to your people.
What happens after the three-month minimum?
It moves to month-to-month at the rate you locked in. If you started on the six-month plan and extend to a full year, your rate drops to the twelve-month level for the rest of the engagement. Whatever your most recent commitment is, that is the rate you keep. The structure rewards a longer commitment without penalizing a shorter one.
