Fractional CMTO

One senior seat for AI, marketing, and technology.

A fractional CMTO is one senior leader for your marketing, plus the technology and AI most CMOs hand off. Every published rate includes 10 dedicated hours a week from day one, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time executive. Every week, I cut the noise and drive the moves that actually grow your business.

The seat

  • 10 hours

Dedicated time every week, tracked and reported monthly

  • Weekly

Calls, milestones, and deliverables in your cadence

  • One leader

    Across AI, marketing, and technology

  • 3-month minimum

Then month-to-month, at the rate you locked in

What you get

What a retainer puts in your corner.

Every month on retainer, you get a senior leader who has done the work, not just advised on it. Here is what that brings to your business.

  1. Genuine presence.

A senior leader genuinely in your business every week, not a sliver of attention split across a dozen clients. The seat is dedicated time, so the presence is real.

  2. Senior-level perspective.

Most leaders go deep in one discipline. I have spent my career across sales, marketing, technology, AI, and leadership, so I can see how a move in one area plays out in all the others, and bring that whole-business view to the table alongside your team.

  3. Execution, not just advice.

Strategy and the work to back it up. I can set the direction and help get it done, whether that means doing it myself, working alongside your team, or running point on your agency partners.

  4. Cross-functional clarity.

The gaps between departments, closed. Growth problems usually live there. I connect the buyer, the message, the sales process, the systems, the data, and the people responsible for making it all work.

  5. AI and technology adoption.

Past the hype and into real use. I move your team beyond AI curiosity into practical use cases, workflows, enablement, and adoption that show up in business outcomes.

  6. A bias toward signal.

Focus on what actually moves the number. Not every idea deserves resources, and not every tactic deserves another meeting. I help your team see what matters, what is missing, and what moves next.

The first 90 days

Senior leadership that moves fast.

Every engagement is shaped to your business. This is the shape of the work, not a script.

  1. 30First 30 days

    Get inside the business.

I learn how you actually make money, audit the marketing, technology, and AI you have, and set the baseline we will measure everything against.

  2. 60Days 31 to 60

    Set direction, start moving.

We lock the priorities, make the first no-regret AI and technology moves, and clear what has been slowing the team down.

  3. 90Days 61 to 90

    Show measurable movement.

First campaign live, first AI workflow in your team's hands, first movement in the pipeline you can see in the numbers.

Pricing

One retainer. Pick the commitment that fits.

Every retainer is the same seat: 10 dedicated hours of my time each week, more than a full business day, tracked and reported with your monthly invoice. The longer the commitment, the lower the rate. There is a three-month minimum, and it moves to month-to-month after that.

  1. 3-Month Retainer

The fastest way to put senior leadership in your business and feel the difference.

    $9,500/mo$28,500 over three months
  2. 6-Month Retainer

Room to set direction and ship the first real wave of outcomes.

    $8,500/mo$51,000 over six months
  3. 12-Month RetainerLowest rate

A full year to build, ship, and compound. The lowest rate, locked in.

    $7,500/mo$90,000 over twelve months
Start smaller

A retainer starts at $9,500 a month with a three-month commitment. Not ready for that? Start with a Power-Up, a fixed-price way to power up one part of your business first. Two are working sessions for your sales team, priced per sales professional. A third brings your whole company up to a defined standard for how Google and AI find you.

FAQ

Common questions

What does “fractional CMTO” actually mean?
Two ideas in one title. Fractional means you get a senior executive for a fraction of every week, at a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire. Here, that is 10 dedicated hours a week, tracked and reported monthly. CMTO stands for Chief Marketing and Technology Officer: one seat that owns your marketing strategy and the technology and AI that power it. If you have been searching for a fractional CMO, this is that seat, plus the technology and AI build most CMOs hand off.
How is this different from hiring a full-time CMO or CTO?
A full-time CMO or CTO is the right move when you need a dedicated executive in the seat every day, and it comes with an executive search, a senior salary and benefits, and a long-term commitment. The retainer gives you that same caliber of leadership right now, without the search or the overhead, and it covers marketing, technology, and AI in one seat rather than two full-time hires. You size the commitment to what your business needs today and scale it as you grow, for a fraction of the cost of a full-time executive.
Do you replace my team, or work with them?
I work with the team you have already built. I can also work alongside any agencies or consultants you have in place, and run point on them when that helps. The role is leadership and execution combined: I drive direction and decisions, and I do senior-level work next to your people.
What happens after the three-month minimum?
It moves to month-to-month at the rate you locked in. If you started on the six-month plan and extend to a full year, your rate drops to the twelve-month level for the rest of the engagement. Whatever your most recent commitment is, that is the rate you keep. The structure rewards a longer commitment without penalizing a shorter one.
What if we need more than 10 hours a week?
If the work needs more than 10 hours a week, we review the need against your scope and add the hours it calls for. Your monthly fee adjusts to match the larger weekly block, so more hours means a higher monthly rate, re-scoped and signed once rather than billed ad hoc by the hour. A bigger one-off build, like a website rebuild or a CRM build, is scoped separately as fixed-price project work around the seat.
